Summer Homestead in Your Homeschool

Now that summer is on the way, we're getting ready to change up our homeschool days. How about you?

If you're like me, you know it is important to include hands-on learning activities as well as bookwork when it comes to teaching our kids how to be self-reliant.

Independent living skills have never been more important. And homesteading skills especially. Things like learning to garden, craft, tend to animals, store food and learn old-fashioned ways is a fun way to get your children's attention.
